This state is WET!
It’s been raining for, well damned near all year, or so it seems. But after the heavy rainfall last night and today, flooding occurred throughout the state, and 4 people are dead.
I have to be at work at 5 am to put news online and send it out by email. I got in my car at just after 4, and after going in circles trying to find a road my car wouldn’t drown in, was back at home soon after. A short time later, they put a barricade at both ends of the road I live on. I’ve been stuck inside ever since.
At about 4 pm the rains stopped out here, and about 5 pm I could see the sun again.
I’m glad that’s over.

Holy crap! That is a lot of rain!
One thing that stuck out like a sore thumb in those photos was the guy wearing a Texas sweatshirt. What the? Doesn’t he realize where he is? LOL
Yeh, just a skip over the state line from you we’ve experienced a really wet Fall already. The low-water bridge down the road from twc central has become a “don’t even go there” more days than not over the past month.
*tink-tink* Anybody home? Flooded out? Need a life preserver? Small boat? Water wings?
